The last blog entry was before covid 19, before the lockdown of 1 month
the last revit skill learnt was before the pp set preparation
how things unfold sometimes, there is really little sense in getting exasperated, yet we still do, i still do. About how things are left unsaid, unpinned, its like being placed in a room, with these puddles, formless, and having to find your way at intersections. or like being in a park, when there is all this green you can see, and pavilions for rest you can see, but yet, the path that takes you there is elusive. one is so temped to cut across the grass and get there, yet as a pack, one has the take the path, any path, paved or dirt, but that decision is to be made. The conversation is just, yes the answer is the pavilion. how to get there, when to get there, is all left uncharted. sometimes instead of saying, can i go to another pavilion, one says, how can i get to that one. anyhow, these formless ways of being, had me, my mind so twisted, that i slept till later today. woke up only at noon.
deep breaths/
i need to read more books about the way of the tao.
googled on " how do you know when you are mentally stressed"
solutions: feel what you are feeling, dont fixate on reasons, remind yourself this is not permanent.
ok back to revit.
Even blogger has a need to be precise and hashtags.
actually the way revit is, i think we should get along just fine.
some key concepts picked up.
#VV: controls visibility of elements, and it is categorise ever so precisely.
#view range: controls the depth of what one can see
#groups: is the equivalent of a block in autocad
#layering: importing of cad
#plan region/ filled region
#detail lines/ model lines
#align vs extend element tool
#view templates; filters
this seems to be my achilles heel for now.
it seems in terms of sequences: start with VV to set up a filter, and then with a view template, apply that filter.
